About Us: Our leading healthcare institution is dedicated to providing top-notch medical care and innovative treatments. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Records Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Medical Records Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy and security of all patient records. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our medical documentation process.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update patients’ electronic health records (EHR)
  • Ensure all records are accurate and comply with legal and regulatory standards
  • Process medical records requests in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to verify and correct record discrepancies
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information
  • Train staff on proper documentation and record-keeping procedures

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative healthcare capacity
  • 1+ years’ experience working with patient/medical records
  • Prior EPIC experience preferred
  • Proficient in EHR software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Details

  • Pay: $18 - $19/hr. based on related experience.
  • Pay cycle – weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8am – 4:30pm. (40 hours per week)
