Reservation Policies:A credit card for validation of room rentalmust be guaranteed by MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. Your credit card will be charged in full at time of check-in.
Check in:3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Check out: 11:00 a.m. (12 p.m. with Do not Disturb Package – see Packages).
Special arrangements must be made for those guests who cannot arrive before 9:00 p.m.
Special Notes
Out of respect for all guests. Cottages 5A & 5B welcome adult only guests (18 years & older). Should you arrive with a child to stay in Cottages 5A & 5B, your reservation will not be honored and you will forfeit the full payment for your reservation. These cottages also do not have televisions.
Cottage 7 is our the Handicap Accessible unit.
Holiday Reservations
Overnight cottages are open year round. On major holidays(New Year’s Day, Mardi Gras Tuesday, Thanksgiving Day andChristmas Day) thehistoric grounds and exhibits, Restaurant and Gift Shop are closed anda2 day minimum stay mayberequired. A continental breakfast will be placed in your cottages on these days. Other meals may be arranged ahead of time, please inquire upon making reservations on major holidays.
Cancellations
Cancellations are honored via telephone by calling 800-442-5539. Cancellations are not honored if sent via email.We have a 14 day cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or more prior to your arrival date, there is a $40 charge, per night, for cancellations. If reservations are cancelled within the 14 day period before your arrival date, the full amount will be charged to your credit card. If we are able to re-rent the cottage, your card will be refunded for that amount, minus the $40 cancellation fee.
