My LO is 3.5 months and I think she’s going through the first sleep regression. She has been sleeping 6plus hours straight every night for awhile now. Now she wakes up every 2/3 hrs. And is hard to get down for her naps as well. I don’t remember what to do. Do I just ride this out? She’s breast fed so I’ve been feeding her on most wake-up’s.butOpens a new window then I was thinking Should I be trying to get her back down without eating? I remember for my older daughter she didn’t have a regression until 6 months I remember something like only feed them if they actually really hungry Because they’ll get used to that extra feeding and wake up after the regression is done.

Following! Same thing happening to me!

  • My baby girl will be 4 months next week and she’s been going through this for almost 2 weeks now. I don’t feed her when she wakes, I just put her back to sleep. She hasn’t woken for a night feed around 2 months I want to say so I don’t want to bring that back. The only time I fed her during the night was when she was going through a growth spurt last week and we knew that’s what it was so we had to feed her then. Otherwise, I don’t want her to get into that habit again. I have no clue if this is what I’m supposed to do as I’m a FTM but it seems to be okay 🤷🏽‍♀️

I fed her the other night becuase I didn’t realize it was gonna happen a few nights in a row. I don’t want her getting used to the night feed either. I’m gonna try to put her back to sleep without it and if she sleeps without it then she’s not really hungry.

Not sure how you feel about it, but we’ve been trying the cry it out method for no more than 10 mins so she can learn to self soothe and so far it’s been going good!
