The 51st Daytime Emmys announced their winners live on Friday, June 7, at 8:00 pm Eastern/Pacific on CBS, as well as on Paramount+ where the event was available live and on-demand. The Daytime Creative Arts and Lifestyle Emmy Awards followed on Saturday, June 8, and streamed on the Emmys apps and at watch.TheEmmys.tv. The ceremonies took place at the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles. But who were the big winners? Scroll down to find out.
In addition to competitive awards, Lifetime Achievement honors went to actress Melody Thomas Scott, her producer husband Edward J. Scott and renowned culinary TV host Lidia Bastianich. Thomas Scott is known for her performance as Nikki Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” a role she has played continuously since 1979; the role earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination for Best Actress in 1999. Edward Scott was a longtime producer of “Y&R” and has also brought his talents to “Days of Our Lives” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,” winning multiple Emmys along the way. Bastianich, meanwhile, is a James Beard Award-winning chef, an Emmy winner for Best Culinary Host and a nominee again in that category this year.
