Best Cheap Restaurants in Short Pump, VA

1. mezeh

If you’re looking for an affordable restaurant at Short Pump Town Center, then mezeh is a great choice.

The Mediterranean restaurant has lots of choices to make your own bowls, wraps, or pita pockets. Just choose the base, protein, toppings, and sauce.

There are tons of choices, including greens and rice for the base; chicken shawarma, lamb, and falafel for the protein; hummus, sunflower seeds, Turkish yogurt dip, or crumbled feta (to name a few!) for the toppings; and tahini, lemon garlic, spicy mango, or tzatziki (plus more) for the sauces.

They also have a great selection of fresh juices, like Berry Watermelon, Lemon Green Tea, Lemongrass Berry, and Strawberry Lemonade.

And save room for delicious Baklava for dessert!

2. CAVA

CAVA is another affordable restaurant specializing in Mediterranean dishes.

Unlike mezeh, their menu features a selection of bowls and pitas that have the base, protein, toppings, and sauce already selected.

For instance, you can get the Harissa Avocado Bowl with Harissa honey chicken, hot harissa vinaigrette, feta, hummus, corn, avocado, rice, and SuperGreens. Or you can get the Crispy Falafel Wrap with hummus, roasted eggplant, pickles, cabbage slaw, tomato, onion, garlic dressing, and skhug.

You can also make your own bowls and wraps.

They also have a great selection of drinks, like Pineapple Apple Mint, Blueberry Lavendar, and Cucumber Mint Lime.

3. Rusty Taco

If you’re in the mood for tacos, then Rusty Taco is the place to be!

Some of their awesome tacos include the Picadillo Taco (with Spicy ground beef and potatoes, diced onion, and cilantro); the Chicken Fajita Taco (with Chicken, fajita veggies, and pico); and the vegan Cauliflower Taco (with avocado crema, slaw, and pickled red onions.)

You can even get all-day breakfast tacos like the Chorizo, Egg & Cheese; Potato, Egg & Cheese; and Jalapeño Sausage, Egg & Cheese.

You can also find a selection of refreshing margaritas, including frozen margaritas, all for a price that doesn’t break the budget.

And for dessert, you’ll be able to indulge in delicious Churros!

4. Mexico Restaurant

If you’re looking for more than just tacos (although tacos are pretty amazing!) then Mexico Restaurant will give you an even bigger selection of all your favorite Mexican dishes.

They have a huge menu that covers everything Mexican: Fajitas, Quesadillas, Enchiladas, Burritos, and, of course, Tacos, too!

My personal favorite is the Chicken Chimichanga (I think because I tend to have a big appetite!) Plus I love the side of rice and refried beans!

If you’re having a hard time choosing, then you can order a combo platter that includes burritos, tacos, and enchiladas.

For dessert, they have Flan, Churros, and Sopapillas, as well as my personal favorite, Fried Ice Cream! (Can you tell that I love to eat?)

But the best part of Mexico Restaurant is their insanely long list of Margaritas!

You can get a Mexico Lime Margarita, a Premium Margarita, a Golden Margarita, a Blue Margarita, an Irish Blush Margarita, a Choco Strawberry Margarita (!!), or my personal favorite, a Jalapeno Margarita, which is a little spicy. And this isn’t even the full list!

Mexico Restaurant also has a big selection of Daiquiris, Pina Coladas, Mojitos, Cervezas, and much more.
